Tears Like Rain is the culmination of years of finely honed song-writing, precise musical construction, and heart pumping talent. Bay Area Latin Jazz Legend & Grammy nominee, Pete Escovedo joins in, bringing his personal musical contribution, along with Grateful Dead’s Vince Welnick kicking in his keyboard stylings . For the first time ever, Ernie Pinata and his seven piece DELTA WIRES band - complete with rarely found three-piece horn section - create an eclectic, exciting array of fresh, diverse tunes each one different from the other; from the classic heartbreak of the title ballad: TEARS LIKE RAIN; to the jumpin’ Cajun flavor of HONEY BEE; to the hard-driving southern rock of LONESOME BLUES.

DELTA WIRES’ founder and bandleader, Ernie Pinata writes, performs on, and produces this sassy, clean, third release - bringing his original conception to brilliant actuality. Oakland’s Skyline Studios’ provided Benji Farquhar, who deftly served as accomplished studio engineer. Farquhar clicked into Pinata’s concepts, understanding his vision and supporting its fulfillment to the fabulous finished product.
